Donation to a family for

baby’s medical costs:

A local resident and family friend was battling with health concerns of their baby daughter. A saddle was donated to the sale by Troy Parish of Missouri, pictured in the yellow, and was sold with proceeds going to that family for medical costs. The saddle was sold and resold over and over to pool $1600 that was donated to this family and their baby girl.

2004 Spring Sale – Our special feature

We all know someone who has cancer or have known someone in the past that has struggled with this disease. Gary Schmitz, a gentleman with the local Iowa County Teamsters, has been diagnosed with cancer as of last year. In response to this news and in an effort to show her concern, Becky Jones has donated this filly to be sold today at our sale. The proceeds from this filly will be generously donated to the Cancer Society to help find a cure for cancer. Thank you so much to Becky for such a wonderful donation and may we all continue to pray for a cure for cancer to be discovered.
